"Funny how what we thought was another time wasting sales call turned out to be one of the best decisions we’ve made in years. As a small independent employment business, we have struggled with the idea of finding a system that is just right for us. The problem is we could not decide on what was right, we never knew precisely the types of systems that existed. But we knew that the tens of spreadsheets we had were becoming unmanageable in trying to keep track of the various business activities. Add to this, our weekly payroll process which was tedious, prone to errors and costly as it was sent externally to our accountants for processing. Management of staff information was erratic and never fully converged.
Along came Quick Recruit!
By the end of the presentation by i-Business Resources on how their Quick Recruit system could help us, we knew straightaway that it was the right one for our business. We could see a number of opportunities beyond what we had envisaged. All of a sudden, we realised we could effectively and efficiently manage complex business activities, processes and information. Once we were reassured about the resilience and data protection arrangements, we decided to go live with the system on April 1st. This was to ensure our tax records align with the Inland Revenue.
Unfortunately, we had other pressing business priorities which meant only two weeks was set aside to migrate existing data to the new Quick Recruit platform. We had to get all records in the system and run the week’s payroll of our agency staff without any disruption. The support and guidance offered by IBR staff was invaluable in ensuring that this critical business objective was met.
A month following the implementation of Quick Recruit, we are convinced we will never look back. We expect cost savings, efficiency savings, better customer relationship management, improved business intelligence etc. When it comes to business reporting we are in a far better position than we have ever been. We are so impressed with the system that we have commenced a full review of all internal processes and procedures to align them with Quick Recruit in ensuring we get maximum value from the system.
We are extremely excited about the leverage offered by Quick Recruit. We are making plans to grow our business exponentially in the next few years and we believe that Quick Recruit may just make this aspiration a little bit more realistic."
